Isabelle Heitman is the vocalist in Solid Base. She was born in Oslo, Norway in 1972 as a Capricorn. Ever since childhood she's had a passion for singing, dancing and acting. She got a lot of support from her parents since they also used to sing, in a well known group in Norway.
However, she moved to Gothenburg, Sweden at the age of 10 and when she reached the age of 14, she went to sing at the "Stage School" located in Gothenburg. A few years later she moved to Stockholm and begun to to sing in various talent competitions for a few years. One day she got a telephone call from Pat Reiniz. He was wondering if she would like to come and sing for him. Now she sang for Cool James & The Black Teacher on their album.
At work she met a guy by the name of Niclas Lindberg (Producer of Snipers). He recommended her for the Solid Base project. Solid Base liked her singing skills and a very intense and professional partnership begun.
The rapper Thomas Nordin or Teo T is born in 1971. He was raised in Africa and has also lived in Asia.
He has been a rapper for over ten years. He has alot of hopes and dreams for Solid Base. He says that
life doesn't get to be much better than this because he loves being on stage and working with the producers
Jonas Eriksson and Mattias Eliasson and the rest of the team around Solid Base.
They have released several singles since 1994 and they have all been hits in europe.
So in 1996 they released their debute album entitled "Finally".
In 1997 they released the singles "Let It All Be Sunshine" and "All My Life" and "Fly To Be Free".
In April 1998 Solid Base released a new smashing hit called "Come'n Get Me" and it was also the first single
to be released that wasn't available on their first album .
In August Solid Base released a single called "Sunny Holiday" and they also released their second
album entitled "The Take Off".
Later in 1998 Solid Base released a single called "Ticket To Fly"
Solid Base made a song for the Pringles TV-commercial (Sweden) in the fall of 1999.
The song is not commercial, although a cd-single exists.
Solid Base released a single called "This Is How We Do It" on October 20, 1999.
The new album entitled "Express" was released in the beginning of November, 1999.
In February/March 2000 the single "Push It", containing a remix by Pinocchio, was released.
Later in 2000 they released the single "Sha La Long", also released in 2000 in Germany was the single "Come On Everybody".
Solid Base released an album in Germany called "Party Totale!.
The album was released on April 30, 2001 and contains 9 songs + 2 remixes.
Solid Base released an album called "In Action in 2002. The album had 100% new material, "I Like It" was previously released as a single. Rumors from Norway are that "Perfect Melody" is supposed to be the 2nd single released, probably mid-march 2003.
Solid Base released a greatest hits album entitled just "Greatest Hits" on January 14, 2004.
